Hood, drawstring waist, snap placket
- Attached hood: a hood sits at the back of the neck, ready to pull up.
- Zip and snaps: a front zip closes behind a placket fastened with metal snaps.
- Drawstrings: cords at the waist and the hem adjust the shape.
- Pockets: a zipped pocket on the chest and a flap pocket at each hip.
- Sleeve tabs: a snap tab at each cuff and a tab to hold the sleeves rolled up.
It is a light, lined shell, not a padded coat: layer a jumper under it on cold days.
