- Pleated neckline: stacked bands follow the V at the front for a neat, tailored detail.
- Loose shift cut: the dress hangs straight from the shoulders without a waist seam.
- Split sleeves: short, wide sleeves open along the outside of the arm.
- Curved hem: the hem dips gently at the sides and sits above the knee.
The cut is loose rather than fitted, so most people take their usual size. The V-neck is fairly deep; a camisole underneath gives more coverage.
