A longline women's coat with a wide hood, a drawstring tie waist, an open front and roll-up button-tab sleeves.
Wide hood, tie waist, open front
- Wide hood: it drapes around the shoulders like a shawl collar, or goes up when the wind picks up.
- Drawstring waist: an inner cord ties at the front to cinch the waist.
- Open front: no buttons to fuss with, so it layers quickly over anything.
- Button-tab sleeves: roll the cuffs up and fasten them with the tab.
The front has no fastening and is worn open or held by the waist tie. It is a mid-weight coat for autumn; for frosty days, layer a warm knit underneath.
