A cropped double-breasted coat with a rolled shawl collar, batwing sleeves and welt hip pockets, cut boxy and oversized.
Shawl collar, two buttons, pockets you can actually use
- Shawl collar: one continuous rolled collar with no notch, so the neckline stays soft and open.
- Batwing sleeves: cut in one with the body, with no shoulder seam and a deep, roomy armhole.
- Two-button wrap: one button on each front panel holds the double-breasted front closed at the hip.
- Welt pockets: one horizontal opening at each hip, set into the seam rather than patched on.
- Brushed surface: a matte wool-look woven with a soft nap and no sheen.
This is an oversized cut and the sizes are set by body measurement: S fits an 88 cm bust, 2XL a 110 cm bust. The sleeves are long by design; on a batwing shape the 72 cm figure is measured from the back of the neck. At 65 cm the body is short, so it reads as a jacket rather than a coat over a long skirt. Each piece weighs about 700 g.
