A unisex sleeveless padded gilet in 100% polyester, quilted in four bands, with a stand collar and a zip under a five-snap placket.
Zip under a five-snap placket
- Double front: a full-length zip runs the whole body, and a placket with five snaps closes over the top of it.
- Stand collar: padded to the same depth as the body, with the top snap holding it closed at the throat.
- Two welt pockets: vertical openings at the hip with a raised welt edge, one on each front panel, plus one inside.
- Four quilted bands: wide horizontal channels hold the wadding evenly across the front and the back.
- Room to layer: a 106 cm chest at size S and clean bound armholes leave space for a knit underneath.
This is a hand-wash piece: wash it at room temperature, do not machine wash it, and hang it in the shade to dry. It is sleeveless, so it is a warm middle layer rather than a coat. The hem is straight, with no drawcord and no elastic. There is no hood.

Does the zip work, or is the placket just for show? Both work. The zip closes the body on its own, and the five snaps close the placket over it.
Can it go in the machine? No. The maker asks for hand washing at room temperature and line drying in the shade.
