A cropped navy knit sweater with white zebra bands worked into the knit, a deliberately frayed hem and cuffs, and long batwing sleeves.
Knitted-in zebra bands, frayed hem, batwing sleeves
- Zebra worked into the knit: the white bands are knitted in against the navy ground, so there is no print to crack or peel.
- Frayed edges: the hem and both cuffs end in a deliberately shredded edge with loose threads hanging free.
- Cropped body: a deep navy rib closes the body at the waist, at the top of a high-rise jean.
- Batwing sleeves: the shoulder seam sits well down the arm and the sleeve stays wide to a ribbed cuff.
- Airy gauge: the stitch is loose and visibly open, so it layers well over a vest or a shirt.
The cut is oversized on purpose: a wide body, low shoulders and long, roomy sleeves. If you are between two sizes, the smaller one still wears loose. The shredded hem and cuffs are part of the design, so a few loose threads when it arrives are normal and not a fault. The open stitch means a top underneath will show through, which is how it is styled.
